PitNews.com boasts a completive prominence on the web with respect to
commodities news. By submitting content, you have an opportunity
to be featured on the homepage, and readers will be greeted with your
article and a link to your site. You can contribute to the PitNews.com website on a daily or

Article Specifications
Articles must be 1200-2500 words in length and include a brief author biography (maximum 100 words). See "Deadlines"
section below for article submission dates.
Preferred format is a Microsoft Word file, sent via e-mail to
submit@pitnews.com.
Please include all charts, graphics and tables in their original format (jpeg, Photoshop, Excel, etc).
Content should be educational and strategy oriented. Material deemed to be an advertisement or self-promotion
will be rejected. Short, medium, and long-term trading strategies are welcome, as are details of specific trades
that an author has made, along with the reasoning behind them. Of course, broad subjects such as technical analysis,
money management, trader psychology, etc. are welcome, as these are areas of interest to all of our readers.
Graphics
Charts and graphics are desirable in every article, as a picture may well be “worth a thousand words” to convey
an idea. However, limit chart ideas to one or two simple points. Charts should have a white or light-colored
background with dark type for bars and price/time axis scales. No black or dark backgrounds. Please make all letters,
trendlines, arrows, etc. large so they will show up if the chart size is reduced for the magazine page.

Charting Software, and uses it for all charts if possible. This program
is easy to use, and authors can get a complimentary copy by simply asking. A clear presentation and notes regarding
time frame, contracts, etc. is always appreciated.
Submission Terms
All articles must be your original work and should not have been published elsewhere. Your submission should include
all information on how to reach you – postal address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. PitNews.com Magazine will
retain the copyright on all submitted articles, and articles can not be reproduced in any other format without express
consent from PitNews.com. Article reprints and copies will be made available to authors in a variety of formats that
can be used in your own promotional materials for no additional charge. (CD copies will be available for a small
service charge to cover expenses). Each reprint must maintain the PitNews.com credits and copyright.
Compensation
All accepted articles will be followed (within 4 pages) by a 1/4 page advertisement for the author's business,
products, services, or favorite charitable organization. If you choose to take advantage of this offer, please provide
us with your ad at the time of article submission. Our graphics and editorial departments can assist authors with
business promotional items if necessary. If a charitable add is used, please list the contact information for the
intended charity. Receipts for charitable donations are available for tax purposes.
The advertisement size offered is C1 (vertical) 1/4 Page.

Deadlines
All articles, including biography and optional 1/4 page advertisement are due on the third Friday of the month
prior to the desired issue. For example, articles for the September 2007 issue are due by August 17th.
